Donna earned her bachelor's degree at age 56 and her master's at 59, and has fully embraced SUU's motto of 'Learning Lives Forever'. Donna was an SUU employee for 25 years, and has been very committed to the university and is keenly aware of the financial challenges facing non-traditional students, particularly after her two-year stint in the Micahel O. Leavitt Center for Politics and Public Service where she saw young married students balancing education, service, work, and daily life. Donna and her husband Kit have dedicated part of their estate to support future non-traditional students and are confident and hopeful that their gift will make a difference in the completion efforts for future T-Birds.
